This Privacy Policy explains what information Silvaback TV ("SBTV") collects, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information We Collect

• Account information — your email address and encrypted password
• Subscription information — your membership tier and billing status. Card details are processed and stored by Stripe; SBTV never sees or stores your full card number
• Viewing activity — titles watched, watch progress, and items in My List, used to power features like Continue Watching
• Ad interaction data — on ad-supported tiers, anonymous ad impression and completion events

2. How We Use It

We use this information to operate the service: authenticate you, deliver the right content for your tier, resume playback across devices, process subscriptions, serve ads on ad-supported tiers, and improve the platform.

3. Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers that power SBTV: Stripe (payments), Amazon Web Services (content storage and delivery), and — on ad-supported tiers — ad networks that serve advertisements.

4. Your Choices

You can update your email, reset your password, clear your watch history, and cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard. To delete your account and its data, contact us via the Contact page.

5. Security

Passwords are stored using industry-standard one-way hashing. Access to content is controlled through short-lived signed URLs. All traffic is encrypted in transit (HTTPS).

6. Changes

We will post any updates to this policy on this page.
